Forum Participation     Participation in forums is very important it is a way to spark discussions, to evoke emotions of learner. Also discussion forums create an excellent platform for learning through interaction between learners and instructor and this is based on the idea of the learner centered learning environment and these will develop critical thinking skills. The interaction between the learners provide a wide learning spectrum in which, ideas will be brainstormed and shared. Discussions are a way of getting learners involved in activities and this gives learners a sense of   interaction with others more especially on online class. The Most important key is that the assessment should be fair. Traditional Assessment Traditional assessment is what we are used to in the class setup, this is the use of teacher-made quizzes and tests and it can also involve Essay questions, homework and projects. This kind of assessment are made physical by the teacher. This method can be more authentic and standardized tests, depending on how they are used to get results. e-Portfolio Report

e-Portfolio Project e-portfolio is new concept to me, previously I have read blogs and social media on internet but to create one was a bit of a challenge. When I given this project, I was rather confused but I was up for the new kind of concept to learn something totally new. Starting the task was a hard with the research I begin to understand how e-portfolio is created but still was not confident in creating one. E-Portfolios first appeared in universities and colleges in the 1990s and have now been accepted by at least half of all universities and colleges in The United States (Clark, 2009). When I started I decided to understand clearly what e-portfolio is all about and how it works, before creating mine.
